DisabledChild India is a Christian organisation that works in the field of childhood disabilities. The main aim of DisabledChild India is to freely share the knowledge that we and our supporters have acquired in the field of special needs, with families and professionals in India.

We do believe that knowledge is not the domain of the elite few – anyone that has a child with a disability or works with a child with a disability must know how to best help the child in their care. We do this because we believe that this is the way Jesus would have wanted it.

While the span of childhood disabilities is vast, to give our vision more clarity and focus, we are currently working in the field of Autism. Our work in India is achieved through the Diya Trust of India. Through Diya, we have established a Learning Centre for children with Autism, situated in Tirunelvelli, Tamil Nadu.
